Key broken in the lock
Do not force it with the remaining piece and do not use glue: you could push the broken part further in. A locksmith removes it with an extractor, usually without changing the cylinder.
Keys lost or stolen: change the cylinder
If your keys can be linked to your address, for example if they were with your papers, change the cylinder. It is quick and costs €120 to €250, part included, with a branded cylinder and a key card to have new keys made.
